    Every new hire learns the bar with our head trainer, on paid time, before working a solo shift.

    Schedules go out two weeks ahead, and you can swap shifts with teammates in our app.

    Tips are pooled and split by hours worked, so the whole team shares in a busy day.

    Most of our shift leads and managers started behind the bar. We’ll show you what the next step takes.

  • Time off that’s paid

    Everyone earns paid time off, and full-time staff get health cover.

How hiring works

Four steps, usually done within two weeks.

  1. Apply

    Pick a role above and fill in the short application. Tell us when you can work and what you’re looking for.

  2. Quick call

    A friendly chat with a café manager about shifts, pay and any questions you have.

    About 15 minutes

  3. Paid trial shift

    Spend a couple of hours behind the bar with the team, so you can see if it feels right too.

    About 2 hours, paid

  4. Offer

    We’ll let you know either way. If it’s a yes, we’ll plan your first week together.

    Within a week of your trial

Questions

Do I need coffee experience?

No. Most of our baristas joined with none. Being friendly and reliable matters more. We teach the rest.

Can I work around school or another job?

Yes. Tell us when you can work in the form, and we’ll match you with shifts that fit.

Is the trial shift paid?

Yes. Every trial shift is paid at the normal hourly rate for the role.

When will I hear back?

Within 5 working days of applying, even if it isn’t a match this time.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes. Open each role you’re interested in and apply to it separately.
